Norwegian Stage Sex Couple To Star In Reality TV Show

December 23, 2004

A couple who sparked outrage by having sex on stage in front of thousands of stunned rock concert goers in Norway (see previous BLABBERMOUTH.NET stories: Story#1, Story#2, Story#3, Story#4, Story#5) is now wanted for a reality show, according to Nettavisen.

Tommy Hol Ellingsen and Petra Leone Johansson have been asked to participate in the TV 3 reality show "Nr. 19", where the contests compete by redecorating apartments.

Reportedly, it started out as a joke among the employees at the production company Strix, and it is now being discussed how seriously it was actually considered to invite the couple to the television show.

"It stated as a joke, and a phone call was made, but I don’t know how serious it was," said Glenn Ø. Støldal, head of information at TV 3, to the Norwegian paper VG.

He confirms that next year's version of "Nr. 19" will have celebrities competing.

Hol Ellingsen confirmed when VG called that they had indeed been contacted by Strix, however, he did not want to comment on what they have decided upon.

"I have nothing else to say," Hol Ellingsen said. "We are in Germany now. If you think this is so exciting, you have to wait and see if we show up on TV."

Støldal said Strix has not received an application from the couple.
